Nicole Hunt

Lead User Experience Researcher

Core Values

Collaboration, Care, Communication

Collaboration

I conduct research in collaboration with my product teams and stakeholders, ensuring everyone is involved. When my teams are new to UX research, I take pride in growing the team's UX maturity while meeting them where they're at. I've found that the most effective way to get my research results implemented is to foster a collaborative spirit from the very start of any project. I respect each teammate's unique perspectives and enjoy fostering cooperation.

Care

I take a lot of pride in doing high-quality work, making my users' lives better, and helping my stakeholders achieve their goals. Even if I am new to a product area, I genuinely care about using research to make that product space better. When I come across challenges - whether that's low UX maturity within an organization or timeline constraints - my genuine care fuels me to iterate as many times as necessary within the project timeline to find a solution that works for everyone.

Communication

I've been known to create engaging comic strips, gifs, email series, and short videos just to communicate about my research. One major tenant of my research process is providing clear communication to everyone involved. I go out of my way to find out what my teams and users want from me and then cater my communication style to them, ensuring that everyone has the information they need. I enjoy getting creative about my communication methods so I can be most effective.
